Leslie has been a Certified Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death litigation since 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of New Mexico.  She handled the defense of personal injury cases from 1990 through 2005, first as house counsel for State Farm Insurance, and then for Zurich Insurance.  Leslie has tried over fifty personal injury cases to a jury.  She remains active on the Member's Assistance Committee of the State Bar of Arizona.  At Harvard Law School in 2003, she became certified as an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.  Leslie has been on the faculty of the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy for several years.
